About Us:
The Tulalip Pallet Shelter Community is a 20-unit, low-barrier shelter designed to provide safe, dignified, and accessible temporary housing for Tulalip tribal members and Tulalip Community members experiencing homelessness. By minimizing barriers to entry, the program helps ensure that individuals can access shelter, supportive services, and opportunities for stability when they need them most.
Located near the intersection of Marine Drive and 19th Avenue, the shelter operates under a harm-reduction and person-centered model that meets residents where they are in their lives. The program welcomes individuals experiencing homelessness, including those facing mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders. Through patience, acceptance, open-mindedness, and nonjudgmental support, residents are connected with resources that promote stability, healing, and individualized pathways toward hope and recovery.
Mission:
The mission of Tulalip Pallet Shelter is to provide a low-barrier, safe, and supportive environment for individuals experiencing homelessness, including those facing mental health and substance use challenges, by meeting people where they are, offering compassionate care, and connecting residents to resources that foster stability, dignity, and hope.
